Policies

  • Opening hours: Monday–Saturday, 08:00–18:00. Closed Sundays.
  • Hourly bookings have a 2-hour minimum. Half-day = 4 hours. Full-day = 8 hours.
  • A 30-minute reset follows every booking and must finish within opening hours.
  • Changes can be made up to 7 days before the event date.
  • All illustrative prices are totals, inclusive of any applicable tax.

FAQ

Is this a real venue?
No. Assembly House is a fictional business in the Groupbooka demo portfolio. Prices are illustrative GBP and requests made here are demo reservations only - nothing is booked or charged.
Can I book several rooms for one event?
Yes. Add the Grand Hall and any breakout rooms to the event basket. Each room has its own calendar, so different rooms can run at the same time.
What does the 30-minute reset mean?
Every booking is followed by 30 minutes for our team to reset the room. It's counted when checking availability and must finish by 18:00 — so a full day must start by 09:30.
How do hourly, half-day and full-day work?
Hourly bookings have a 2-hour minimum. Half-day is 4 hours and full-day is 8 hours, at a fixed price per room.
Why are catering numbers separate from headcounts?
People often move between the hall and breakouts. Entering refreshments and lunch quantities separately avoids paying twice for the same person.
Is AV support charged per room?
No — £150 per event day, once across the whole basket.
What's included?
Wi-Fi, a screen or projector and basic room setup in your chosen layout come with every space.
Can I change my booking?
Changes can be made at least 7 days before the event date. All illustrative totals are inclusive of any applicable tax.
